Henry Moore, Standing figure, knife edge (1961)
The sculpture was purchased by Niels Onstad after Henie Onstad presented a great retrospective of the artist. In line with the artist's own wish, it is placed on the hill towards the fjord.
The sculpture is a big version in bronze made after a form Moore started working with in the 1960's. The starting point was the breastbone of a bird and the famous sculpture from ancient times; the winged Nike.
