The Philosophy Stone
The Norwegian philosopher Arne Næss (1912–2009) used to sit on this stone. He was a tenacious spokesperson for non-violence, coined the term "deep ecology" and was an important intellectual and inspirational figure within the environmental movement. As a philosopher, he emphasized the free and independent thought and that everyone must find their own way, “sva marga”.
