On July 27, 1970, a group of activists put up a tent camp at the trenches of a road to a working site for the planned expansion of Eikesdal/Grytten power plant.
The campaign is known as Mardøla-aksjonen. It was the first time civil disobedience was used in a a nature conservation case.⠀
September 9, the same year, Henie Onstad Kunstsenter presented the photography exhibition showing a photo montage of Oddvar Einarssons' film "Mardøla Blues".⠀
