Today, the two artists can look back upon a rich and eventful period of production – working together, and solo. Their work is wide-ranging – from functional objects such as vases and glasses, carafes and plates, to large, public art commissions. To celebrate this jubilee we present a major installation, with work by both artists. The city as “form, rhythm and mechanism” has been chosen as the platform for a large-scale investigation into the formal aspects of the collection’s content. The investigation looks at issues related to how the city developed, what has shaped and changed it and which social and political mechanisms influence the quality of life in a city.
